Brendan GallagherBrendan has spent over 23 years buying and selling on behalf of clients. While real estate has been the focus for the last six years, Brendan’s earlier career in the Livestock industry has many parallels. “An element of diplomacy is needed in any agent’s role, but most importantly it’s about bringing together a willing vendor and a willing purchaser and helping the parties to a result they’re both happy with,” he explains. Brendan joined Westerman First National in 1997 and since then has increased his annual sales figures every year. He works in the residential market and not surprisingly has a “natural empathy” for rural and lifestyle sales. “I’m definitely not what you would call a ‘pushy’ salesperson. I like to give people as much time as they need. I’d like to think that the information I provide to clients helps them to feel relaxed and comfortable about making what is after all a very important decision.” That propensity for patience has also been displayed outside work as well, with many seasons of children’s sports coaching to Brendan’s credit. |
