Maureen BayleyMaureen returned to Taupo in May 2003 after a few months away and is totally convinced that Taupo is one of the most beautiful places in the world and was delighted to return home. Maureen spent eighteen years in the travel industry in Napier and Wellington before coming to Taupo in 1992 to manage Taupo Ika Nui Timeshare Resort. During this time she met and enjoyed the company of many New Zealander holiday makers, but it was through the eyes of the overseas guests that a wonderful appreciation of Taupo was born. Eventually a change in direction was calling and Maureen joined the Sales Team at Westerman First National in July 2003 and quickly settled into becoming part of the Real Estate Team. She has enjoyed considerable success in the selling field and enjoys a relaxed and friendly relationship with her many clients. When Elaine & Yvonne Westerman decided to amalgamate their two companies and operate under the Bayleys Franchise Maureen became part of a larger team that includes her son Grant and daughter in law Clare, they share a special working relationship and work together as a small team within a large one. The amalgamation has worked extremely well and Maureen is proud to be part of the Bayleys Group. Maureen’s family are an important part of her life with four children and nine grandchildren and any spare time when she is not involved with their activities it is the trout that call, although a firm believer in “catch & release” the odd one does manage to make the dinner table. |
